Class Description

Understanding Crochet Patterns 10am-12pm Saturday 30th August Desborough Library and Community Hub NN14 2QS Join us at Desborough Library and Community Hub and get to grips with crochet patterns! If you can make crochet stitches but can't read a pattern, this class is for you! Hooks and yarn provided at the workshop, or bring your own. We will look at common crochet abbreviations, learn to read written instructions and follow a simple diagram to get you confident with patterns. All materials provided for this adult craft session, accompanied younger learners welcome. Classes make great gifts too! Free parking at rear of building. Refreshments available. Take out a Sunflower plan membership for 10% off all classes and shop products. Please get in touch through the Contact page if you have any questions. Not essential but useful...I will have a small selection of handmade sterling silver yarn rings at £20 available if you are interested in trying one on. Yarn rings, also known as tension rings (see picture) are used when knitting or crocheting to spare your finger from yarn burn, and keep the yarn in a consistent position to help with tension and speed.
