Crochet For Beginners - 26 September
First steps in crochet, bring your hook and yarn!
Class Description
Thursday 26 September 2024 Wendy Lou's Tearoom 54 Station Road, Desborough, NN14 2RS Come along and learn the basic stitches of crochet! Bring yarn and a crochet hook - a chunky yarn and hook will help you see your stitches. Your yarn ball label will recommend a hook size. A light or mid-coloured yarn is easiest to learn with. Please buy a drink to thank Wendy Lou's for hosting (and stay for lunch if you like)! Not essential but useful! I will have a small selection of handmade sterling silver yarn rings available if you are interested in trying one on. Yarn rings, also known as tension rings (see picture) are used when knitting or crocheting to spare your finger from yarn burn, and keep the yarn in a consistent position to help with tension and speed. I will have ring sizers with me if you want to order a yarn ring in your size. Sterling silver yarn rings cost £20 with free delivery within Desborough.
