Video: Reimagined - The Kettle

Our dear old friend the kettle finally kicked the bucket - when it leaks more than it holds, it's time to bite the bullet and...make a plant pot, right? It's already got drainage...

We've been admiring the gorgeous red poppies now in bloom on our walks, and by happy coincidence my limited collection of enamel paints contains some stunning blues, so instead of red poppies against a blue sky, I thought I'd do a little flipsy colour combo.

I gave the handle and spout a couple of different streaky greens to weather it, and help it blend into the garden setting.

The garden we inherited leaves a lot to be desired and I'm really happy we've added another small personal touch to make it ours.
