Rainy days in springtime...

We have been blessed with a beautiful spring this year, a real gift in the days of lockdown, so I have no complaints that the rain has arrived, and those peaceful sunlit afternoons spent designing, writing, playing games and watching the antics of songbirds from the garden table will now wait a while.


Instead today has been one of tea, a couple of blankets, and a little learning - I've been meaning to work on my embroidery skills for a while, and today the cherry tree in its spring glory is the star.


I'm really enjoying building up the bark!
