New brushes!

Well I was lucky enough to receive some birthday money, so I gave my collection of paintbrushes a good hard look. I haven't really had any small brushes with a good tip since...well, ever, really, and if Mr Nibbles taught me anything, it's that painting whiskers with a cocktail stick is not for the faint-hearted.

So joy of joys, a few days ago four new Cotman watercolour beauties popped through the letterbox, and they are a REVELATION. Dave The Owl isn't going to know what's happened to him. I've finally finished this little pencil and gouache doodle card that's been hanging around for a year or three. Marvellous, I tell you!
